HELPA launches in South Africa

HELPA has launched in South Africa as of 1st March 2019.

The HELPA apps offer support, tools and on-demand video chat connectivity to parents of children with autism and their support providers.

The unified platform has been live in Australia and New Zealand since November 2018 and has quickly secured partnerships with leading national organisations such as Autism NZ, Children’s Autism Foundation, AEIOU Foundation, Children’s Therapy Centre and many more.

These partners will deliver outreach services and supports to families by on-boarding their teams in the coming weeks.

The company aims to create a single platform where families, support providers and organizations can securely and seamlessly navigate through the autism support journey.

Parents can download the HELPA Carer app on iOS or Android to create goals, capture observational assessments, video and image of their child’s behaviour and securely share this with participating support providers when connecting for video chat intervention support.

Support providers can download the HELPA Pro app on iOS or Android to create a vetted bio and set their availability to suit their current work environment making it easy to engage new parents for screening video calls, wait lists and their existing families between in-person support visits.

The company is the only unified social care platform that has partnered with the Digital Health Cooperative Research Centre, an Australian Government & Industry initiative over the next 7yrs.
